To work with the JQBID to develop an integrated digital marketing concept and strategy that would lead to new advances in regional city awareness and stakeholder engagement while providing practical promotional support.
During mid-2019, Hot Source Creative was appointed by the JQBID to assist with a range of digital marketing activities aimed at promoting the Birmingham Jewellery Quarter and redeveloping the digital assets used by the organisation. In particular, the company assisted with advancing new strategies and repositioning the Birmingham Jewellery Quarter digital communications programme.
Hot Source worked closely with the senior management and operational teams within the JQBID. Specific activities included the development and execution of a digital migration plan for a new website and assets, mass SEO for website content and social media assets, provision of full social media support across multi channels – LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram and Facebook, as well as co-developing the 2019/2020 digital communications programme.
Hot Source developed digital content for the JQBID including, market research, press releases, blog posts, advice guides, photography, videography, and infographics. Much of the content developed now ranks in the top positions on Google and other search engines.
The company also provided successful email social media campaigns, as well as event support for the 2019 JQ Festival and local charity activities including real-time social media broadcasting.
Hot Source has now been appointed as an official partner to co-develop a brand-new and fully comprehensive business and tourism website designed to list and promote the businesses and tourism destinations of the Birmingham Jewellery Quarter over the next five years.
